Kickboxing Rules
SEMI CONTACT ONLY!!!
- Any strike making full contact or even the perception of a full contact strike will result in DQ of the striking fighter.
NO KNOCKOUTS ALLOWED!
- There are no Knockouts and, or Technical Knockouts.
- If a fighter quits, ( for example due to exhaustion) this will give a win to his or her opponent by DEFAULT.
- Any Knockout will result in Disqualification of the striker.
- There are some exceptions to a person stopping or faking a knockout.
- This circumstance shall be determined by the Official IKF/PKB Ring Referee or the IKF/PKB Ringside Representative.
- Together, they will determine the reason for the stoppage and designate the winner.
HAND & FOOT STRIKES to the HEAD - SEMI CONTACT ONLY!!!
- The Official IKF/PKB Ring Referee or the IKF/PKB Ringside Representative may be penalized by points or disqualify the striker.
No kicks or punches in the back spine area, groin or knee joints.
Faking and, or over-exaggerating a blow will be closely monitored.
Ax KICK - SPINNING HEEL KICKS RULING
- Axe Kicks and Spinning Heel Kicks will only be allowed when the person delivering the axe kick is wearing a full foot covered safety boot/pad/shoe that covers the heel of the foot. In any case, full control is to be exercised when executing this kick.
International Rules (PIR)
- All rules above apply.
- No knees!
- No Elbows!
- No catcing kicks
- Kicks to inside and outside of thigh OK.
- Shorts are Mandatory, NO LONG PANTS.
Unified Rules
- Catched Kicks Allowed
- Kness Allowed
- Clinch is allowed for 3-5 seconds.
